The credibility gap
Responsible Events found spreadsheets to look unprofessional, while carbon footprint platforms struggled to handle the complexity of third-party supplier data. Some tools built specifically for events went further but couldn't link their calculations back to a recognised emissions standard, leaving clients with numbers that were hard to defend.
